Costa Rica is world-renowned for its pristine, breathtaking, flat-water wildlife paddling. Abundant rainfall, warm water, and a wide variety of rivers and eco-systems are what make Costa Rica's rainforest a paradise for paddlers. This is a great paddling and hiking itinerary that features the best of Costa Rica's rainforests, national parks and beaches. Our incredibly well-versed & friendly Tico naturalist/ river guide will introduce us to a colorful cast of local folks, and show us the Costa Rica less traveled. Our 11-day itinerary visits remote locales known for their exceptional flora and fauna.
Our small group will travel through the countryside in a spacious, comfortable "touring coaster," spending 10 nights in unique rainforest lodges and country inns.
