FREESTYLE DANCE:

The Northern California Dance Collective (NCDC) offers information about freestyle dances and organizations around the country.
They also offer a 9-day Summer Dance Camp in the High Sierras (near Kings Canyon Nat'l Park) in June.
You can go there for any number of days, then come straight down to the Kings River Flowfest. End your camp experience with a splash!

Dance to an irresistible blend of soul, R & B, funk, positive hip hop, reggae, house and other music to free mind, body and soul. Children and teens are always appreciated on the dance floor.Drop-in: $10; Series of 5 dances: $40; First time: $5;
Children 12 and under: free. No scented products please.

The Moving Center School
The Moving Center School is devoted to healing through the practice of the 5Rhythms moving meditation.
With their office based in Mill Valley, they offer weekly classes, weekend workshops, and popular "Sweat Your Prayers" dances on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

Sweat Your Prayers
5Rhythms with minimal instruction – $15

Saturdays 9:30-11:30am
Pickleweed Community Center, San Rafael

Sundays: two sessions
8:30-10:30am and 11am-1:00pm
MLK Gym, Sausalito
The second session usually sells out. Please come early — by 10:15am — if you want to be sure to have a ticket for the second session. thank you!
Recently the first session has also been selling out, but only just after the practice begins, therefore we advise arriving before the start time of 8:30am.
Please note: there will be no Sunday Sweat Your Prayers on Labor Day Weekend: August 31, 2008.
